okay but seriously this is why:

reason 1: i'm gay and i want to be gay

i created lorenOS gayspace (then known as recoinstudios) in 2021 because in 2020/21 my whole theme was pretending to be a company and having a team of people help me... but that never got anyway so the site was left to rot

...until 2023!! i restarted the site as a place where i could throw whatever i wanted into it without being judged for it, but at that time, it was just a black page with my bios from discord and roblox... which is pretty boring... then i left it again for another year

in mid 2024 i started working on it under a new name (uykolyxdotnet) during school when i was bored and by the end of the school year i was proud of what i had so far, so then i kinda stopped working on it again... again... i wanted to keep working on it but because of everything going on at the time i couldn't

but i returned to it in june of this year!! and i plan to fufill the original purpose i had for this in 2023 (but with gay :3)
also... that unviewable rambles page was supposed to be a sorta diary for me seperate from like twitter... never really finished the page though, so...

reason 2: i want to Revival The Web The World Wide

i do not like how everything on the modern internet now is all clean and modern and ai and "investor pls money 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺"
so i found the whole web revival thing in 2021 through some friends on an old youtube revival and i've just... been here ever since
the people here are really nice and i hope to talk to most of them!! ^w^

also i love forums like melonland is so cool i love melonland 💚🍉💖

plus, twitter sucks and bluesky is kinda starting to feel like twitter lite so i've been trying to fully switch into the fediverse for quite sometime... once that's complete i'll link wherever that is here :3
